About

Visual Director. UI/UX Designer. Brand Strategist.
Creative Developer. Portrait Artist. Perfumer.
The last one wasn’t a career pivot —
it just completed the formula.

Before Matters, I spent a few years doing the kind of work that builds real instincts: civic tech, government platforms, museum publications, interactive public installations.

From 2020 to early 2026, I was at Matters Lab as UI/UX Designer, then Visual Director — one of the few design roles that put you inside a live Web3 product while Web3 was still being invented.

I breathed life into an entire ecosystem of products from scratch — making blockchain feel like somewhere people actually wanted to be. Matters.Town, Traveloggers, The Space, Logbook, Billboard.

In early 2026, I went independent and founded Eau Atlas — a creative practice at the intersection of design and sensory experience.

Everything I’ve ever done is about composition: combining disparate elements into something worth experiencing. Design, strategy, scent. Same discipline. Different medium.

I am now available for select collaborations.

My “special sauce”? A rare blend of artistic intuition and business logic — with 30+ shipped projects as evidence, spanning government accessibility platforms to blockchain ecosystems to interactive festival installations.

I can talk front-end architecture with developers, print production with vendors, and budget rationale with CEOs. Sometimes in the same hour.

People who’ve worked with me tend to say: “Get Yihan, win the world.”
